VFX Coordinator

A VFX coordinator manages scheduled production tasks, tracks the daily progress among artists and communicates progress to leads and supervisors. A VFX coordinator monitors the smooth operation of departments and ensures meeting deadlines and production milestones.

Responsibilities

- Works with supervisors on scheduling tasks and assigning them to artists within departments. - Manages and monitors scheduled production tasks. - Manages and monitors dailies and reviews and reports feedback on a daily basis. - Communicates progress and milestones to lead artists and supervisors. - Ensures tasks are being executed within the scheduled time frame and foresees necessary changes that have to be done to adapt to challenges in meeting the target timeframe. - Ensures smooth execution of departments and meeting project’s deadlines.

Qualifications

- Strong organization and communication skills. - General knowledge of the VFX production pipeline and workflows. - Proficient in using PC and/or Mac computers and working with word processing and spreadsheet software. - General knowledge of shot production tools and project tracking software (Shotgun/ Ftrack). - Ability to multitask, allocate resources, and work on more than one project at the same time.
